X-Ray Equipment Calibration
As x-ray equipment is utilized and ages, critical performance will gradually degrade. To prevent or eliminate inaccuracies, It is important to keep x-ray equipment calibrated. Calibration of your equipment will assure that the displayed kV, mA, and time are accurate. Regular calibrations of your x-ray equipment are required per NADCAP regulations.
Focal Spot (Pin Hole) Test
MPM Products invested in top of the line equipment and software in 2019 to perform focal spot (pin hole) tests for our customers. Pin hole shots insure that the beam coming out of the x-ray tube is uniform and will provide geometric sharpness.
Cabinet Radiation Leak Surveys

Survey tests for leaks of radiation are required by the Department of Health and are mandated by each state separately. Usually, most states follow Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) standards for radiation checks, badging, and other radiation safety standards. Annual surveys are recommended on all cabinets and vaults throughout your plants.
MPM's leak test service also includes the review of the safety system on the machine. All door interlocks and safety warning systems (such as warning lights and audible alarms) are tested to insure they are in proper working order, helping to keep your personnel working in a safe environment. |
